Organization Branding

This guide explains how to customize your organization’s branding in Spicerack, ensuring a consistent and professional look across all touchpoints with your community.

Branding Overview

Spicerack allows you to customize the visual appearance of your organization’s presence, including:

  • Logos and brand marks
  • Color schemes
  • Typography
  • Custom domains
  • Email templates
  • Event and registration pages

Accessing Branding Settings

  1. Log in to your Spicerack admin dashboard
  2. Navigate to Organization > Branding
  3. You’ll see all available branding customization options

Logo Management

Upload and configure your main organization logo:

  1. In the branding section, find the Primary Logo area
  2. Click Upload Logo
  3. Select your logo file (recommended: PNG or SVG with transparent background)
  4. Adjust display settings:
    • Size constraints
    • Padding preferences
    • Alternative text
  5. Save changes

Additional Brand Assets

Upload supplementary brand imagery:

  1. Scroll to the Additional Assets section
  2. Upload:
    • Favicon (browser tab icon)
    • App icon
    • Social media profile image
    • Watermark for event graphics
    • Badge and certificate logos

Color Scheme

Primary Color Palette

Set your organization’s core colors:

  1. Navigate to the Colors section
  2. Configure:
    • Primary brand color
    • Secondary color
    • Accent colors
    • Text colors
  3. Use the color picker or enter hex/RGB values
  4. View live preview of your selections
  5. Save changes

Interface Theme

Control the overall look and feel:

  1. Go to Theme Settings
  2. Choose between:
    • Light mode
    • Dark mode
    • Auto (follows user system preference)

  4. Set your default theme

Typography

Font Selection

Customize text appearance:

  1. Navigate to Typography settings
  2. Select fonts for:

Custom Font Upload

  1. In Typography settings, select Add Custom Font

Custom Domain

Setting Up Your Domain

Connect your own domain to your Spicerack presence:

  1. Go to Domains in the branding section
  2. Click Add Custom Domain
  3. Enter your domain name
  4. Follow the DNS configuration instructions
  5. Verify domain ownership
  6. Activate your custom domain

SSL Certificate

Secure your custom domain:

  1. After domain verification, navigate to SSL Settings
  2. Choose to:
    • Use Spicerack’s managed SSL (recommended)
    • Upload your own certificate
  3. Activate SSL protection

Email Customization

Email Templates

Brand your automated emails:

  1. Go to Email in the branding section
  2. Select from available email types:
    • Registration confirmations
    • Event reminders
    • Results notifications
    • Password resets
    • General announcements
  3. Customize template with your:
    • Logo
    • Colors
    • Footer information
    • Social media links

Email Sender Settings

Configure how emails appear to recipients:

  1. Navigate to Email Settings
  2. Set:
    • From name
    • Reply-to address
    • Email signature
    • Legal footer content

Event Page Customization

Event Page Templates
