Convention Metrics

The Convention Metrics dashboard provides you with comprehensive insights about your convention’s performance. The dashboard is divided into four main sections: Overview, Players, Revenue, and Adoption.

Overview

The dashboard displays three main metrics in easy-to-read cards at the top:

Total Revenue

Shows the total revenue generated from your convention, displayed in your local currency (e.g., $51,320). This includes all ticket sales and related transactions.

Total Tickets

Shows the total number of tickets sold or registered for your convention across all event types (e.g., 1246 tickets).

Total Events

Displays the number of events that are part of your convention (e.g., 6 events), including all scheduled tournaments and activities.

Players

This section provides insights about player participation and revenue:

Total Unique Players

Shows the number of individual players who have registered for events at your convention.

Average Events per Player

Indicates how many events, on average, each player participates in during your convention.

Average Revenue per Player

Shows the average amount spent per player across all events and tickets.

Revenue

The revenue section offers detailed financial insights:

Platform Revenue

  • Revenue On Platform: Money collected through the Spicerack platform
  • Revenue Off Platform: Money collected through other channels

Event Type Revenue

  • Average Revenue (Headlining): Average revenue for main/headlining events
  • Average Revenue (Side): Average revenue for side events

Revenue Visualizations

  • Tickets Sold by Event Type: A bar chart showing revenue breakdown by event category
  • Ticket Sales Platform: A pie chart showing the distribution of sales channels (On Platform, Off Platform, Untracked)

Events and Revenue Table

A detailed breakdown of each event showing:

  • Event Name
  • Revenue
  • Event Type (Headlining, Scheduled Side, On-Demand Side)
  • Number of Attendees
  • On Platform Percentage
  • Off Platform Percentage

Adoption

This section shows how players interact with your convention:

Player Adoption

A pie chart showing the distribution of how players access the platform:

  • Website Usage
  • App Usage
  • Anonymous Access

Best Practices

  • Monitor all metrics regularly to track your convention’s performance
  • Use the Players section to understand engagement levels
  • Track platform adoption to optimize your digital presence
  • Use revenue breakdowns to make informed decisions about:
    • Event pricing
    • Event scheduling
    • Platform usage

  • Review the Events and Revenue table to identify your most successful events
